The web project “Falciani´s SwissLeaks - The Great Bank Data Robbery” uses the fascinating story of whistleblower Hervé Falciani to offer an inside view into the complex issue of tax fraud to a broad public in an emotional and playful manner. Through a combination of text, video and interactive elements, the user experiences how Falciani’s spectacular disclosures affect him personally; additionally he is continually confronted with his own attitude towards tax compliance, betrayal and whistleblowing. Get into Friedrich Liechtenstein’s classy golden vintage car, make yourself comfortable in the leather co-driver’s seat and go for a very special ride with him. Enjoy a trip through Berlin in virtual reality that’s more exciting than real life. You will dive into Friedrich Liechtenstein’s bizarre universe and get to know the entertainer better than you have ever imagined.
Friedrich Liechtenstein turns on the radio, his song “1000 Liter” starts playing. It is the opening song of his TV series “Gasoline Deluxe“. Liechtenstein sings along with you while riding down the streets. A musical roadtrip that you will experiences in 360°. By turning your head you’ll discover surprises all along the way: dancers, choires and jugglers turn the ride into a fantastic experience that will be different each time. The ride ends, needless to say, at a gas station!
You will find yourself in the middle of Friedrich Liechtenstein’s universe. Once you take off the VR-glasses, you awake from a bizarre dream and the journey is over.
